Position Summary The Opportunity: The purpose of this position is to be responsible for overseeing the Academic Catalog, Curriculog, and Program Inventory. - Serve as primary internal contact for the College catalog (Acalog);
- Establish standards and identify areas of improvement for the College Catalog and Curriculog in collaboration with supervisor;
- Adhere to college and state processes, procedures, and deadlines while maintaining catalog timelines and deadlines and communicating with stakeholders;
- Provide Curriculog training and support to faculty and staff;
- Draft procedures and processes for catalog, Curriculog, and curriculum maintenance maintain shared access to these procedures and processes;
- Provide information and technical assistance to staff and outside entities regarding catalog related policies and activities, and recommend alternative courses of action;
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve problems and issues related to production of the catalog; confer with administrators, managers, information systems personnel, faculty, and other staff to develop solutions and recommendations;
- Collaborate with departments across campus, staff, and faculty to assist with the catalog and Curriculog process and entry;
- Monitor the approval process for new courses, programs, certificates, and degrees with appropriate parties, including faculty, deans, and committees, in collaboration with supervisor;
- Track and input all annual changes to programs and courses for the annual catalog and ensure the information is updated in the various instruction databases as needed;
- Ensure accurate input of all new, revised, and inactivated courses, certificates, and degrees into instruction databases, collaborating with instructional staff as needed;
- Ensure all non-instructional sections of the Catalog are entered, accurate, and up to date;
- Assist in the maintenance of all curricular documents within the Office of Academic Affairs, and act as a clearinghouse of information regarding articulations, equivalencies, and enrollment requirements;
- Attend Curriculum Committee and General Education Committee meetings to serve as a staff resource to faculty and department chairs.
- Review, check for accuracy and consistency; interpret catalog data housed in multiple management systems, to provide streamlined and consistent information for students, the College, and the community;
- Ensure accurate program and course coding.
- Monitor activities in relation to established goals and within established parameters;
- Provide administrative support for your supervisor and division;
- Establish and maintain records and files;
- Maintain program inventory;
- Draft and proofread correspondence, written reports, and materials;
- Recognize when an issue should be referred and then make an appropriate referral to facilitate continued problem solving;
- Coordinate communications and collaborate with other offices or departments on campuses and centers as appropriate;
- Attend meetings as a program representative;
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Modern Campus products such as Acalog and Curriculog or comparable software;
- Experience with ctcLink or other enterprise management systems;
- Experience working with curriculum coordination in a community or technical college;
- Experience in higher education;
- Experience with educational regulations.
Salary, Benefits, Conditions of Employment, Application Procedure, About SVC Salary and Benefits:
- Salary is based on Range 42, Step A, $3,643 per month with periodic increments to $4,470 per month. Starting salary may be dependent on education, qualifications, and experience. Salary and benefits are subject to change in accordance with legislative mandates and collective bargaining agreements.
- This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and is dependent upon continued grant funding.
- This is a union-represented position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
