Work Environment

The work setting at Gulf Side Physical Therapy is primarily onsite, nestled in a facility designed for progressive rehabilitation practices. Here, you will work alongside a diverse group of healthcare professionals who are committed to enhancing patient health through collaboration. The typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced professional environment that allows for both patient-focused time and necessary administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to understand individual needs and medical histories, thereby developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, utilizing advanced equipment and modalities to enhance recovery and functional movement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including MDs, Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Chiropractors (DCs), to create a comprehensive 360° care model that prioritizes patient well-being.
• Educate patients on injury prevention techniques and effective home-based rehabilitation strategies to encourage ongoing recovery.
• Maintain precise documentation and patient records through our advanced electronic medical record (EMR) system to ensure compliance and enhance communication.
• Engage in weekly case conferences, clinical rounds, and practice development workshops to continuously improve patient care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals of varying age groups and backgrounds who present with a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders and orthopedic conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Gulf Side Physical Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with both post-operative patients and those seeking non-surgical interventions. Qualifications

• MUST be a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California or eligible for licensure.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills are essential for effective patient treatment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, focused on patient-centric care.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, though motivated new graduates may also be considered.
• Certifications in specialized techniques such as dry needling, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation are advantageous.
• An interest in mentorship or education within the clinical setting will enhance your role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging between $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
