Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric beneficiaries utilizing various assessment tools and observational methodologies.
• Create tailored treatment strategies that target both immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions with a focus on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to deliver integrated care solutions.
• Provide education to patients and their families, facilitating progress and practice beyond sessions.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity throughout the patient care processes.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with relevant state, federal, and institutional standards.
• Commit to professional growth through continuing education and team collaboration, staying abreast of advancements in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within your first 30 days of employment.

• Mastery in evidence-based therapeutic approaches for a wide age range, with an in-depth grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing conditions.
