Work Environment

Your primary place of work will be within our fully equipped Rehabilitation Center in Chantilly. You will enjoy a Monday to Friday work schedule, offering a balanced 40-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine functional limitations and assess needs based on physician referrals and patient history.
• Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education tailored to individual goals.
• Implement treatment strategies across various specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, making adjustments as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.
• Deliver ongoing assessments and document patient outcomes meticulously, ensuring accurate communication with all members of the healthcare team.
• Provide exceptional customer service, contributing to a welcoming and professional environment that enhances the overall patient experience.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment processes, self-care techniques, and injury prevention strategies to foster patient independence.
• Meet and strive to exceed utilization goals and business objectives, ensuring operational efficiency and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a variety of patient populations, including but not limited to those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, or engaging in rehabilitation from sports injuries. Your personalized approach will help patients of all ages achieve their specific functional goals, ensuring a significant impact on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using word processing software and maintaining accurate patient records.
• A commitment to building long-term relationships with patients, empowering them to achieve their functional recovery goals.
• A genuine enthusiasm for patient-centered care and the desire to contribute positively to community health.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, with exposure to outpatient rehabilitation.
• Background in specialized physical therapy fields such as sports therapy, pediatric therapy, or neurological rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient management and documentation workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
