Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain positive rapport with clients to build trust and open communication channels, essential for effective therapy.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop tailored treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote mental wellness and personal growth.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of client progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at KCPro Counseling and Well-Being Center, you will work with a diverse client base, ranging from individuals grappling with anxiety and depression to couples navigating relationship challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and each presents unique life experiences that require a personalized approach to therapy. You will be instrumental in empowering clients to improve their mental health and interpersonal relationships, fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing.

Qualifications\n

• Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is required.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, or a related mental health field; a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred.

• At least two years of experience providing individual and/or group therapy in a clinical setting.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage a diverse client caseload effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and collaborate with fellow practitioners.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in teletherapy or familiarity with virtual treatment methodologies.

• Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is advantageous.

• Previous experience working in a community health setting or clinic.

Compensation and Benefits\n
