The Repair and Tool Technician position at Home Depot involves the evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. Technicians make equipment recommendations and ensure units are maintained. They work in stores with Tool Rental Centers and in repair centers. In stores, technicians provide service to customers in Tool Rental, including writing contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, ensuring tools operate properly, and demonstrating proper use. They also support customer repair needs and manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department. In non-store locations, technicians repair, test, and clean units before returning them to the store.
Location: Home Depot is hiring for a Repair and Tool Technician Position in Flatiron, New York City. Base pay starts at $18.5/hr.
