Step into a dynamic educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students in multiple school environments near the greater Lapeer region. This rewarding contract position runs through June 2027 and involves serving a diverse caseload across four closely situated school sites—allowing you to truly focus on each group without the challenge of back-and-forth travel during your day.

You’ll collaborate with educators and families as you empower students with a range of speech, language, and cognitive needs, including general education pupils and those on the autism spectrum or with mild cognitive challenges. What we look for:

• Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Expertise in developing and delivering inclusive speech-language interventions
• Familiarity with IEP processes and student goal-setting
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
• Comfort working independently across multiple sites (travel between schools limited to one per day)

Role highlights:

• Design and implement individualized speech-language therapy for students with varying needs
