IT Support Specialist

Technical Support RoleThis role provides technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT and audio-visual (AV) systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for general day to day support, to include, but not limited to as much of the following as possible:Assist in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systemsProvide first-line technical support for end-users, addressing issues with computers, printers, and mobile devicesPerform basic system updates, installations, and configurationsAssist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systemsSupport live events, including meetings, webinars, and presentations, ensuring AV equipment functions seamlesslyTroubleshoot and resolve AV issues during events or regular operationsMaintain accurate records of IT and AV equipment inventoryDocument and track support tickets, solutions, and system changesReport recurring technical issues and suggest potential improvementsWork closely with senior IT staff to learn and grow technical skillsProvide basic IT and AV training to end-users as neededQualificationsEducation/ExperienceBachelor's Degree or at least 2 years' experience required.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesBasic knowledge of IT hardware, software, and networking.Familiarity with audio-visual technology, including common AV setups and troubleshooting techniques.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with AV platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar.Understanding of video editing or basic multimedia production.Basic knowledge of cabling and signal flow for IT and AV systems.Working ConditionsExtensive use of computersExtensive time sitting/standingAble to lift up to 5 lbsSalaryMaximum Salary: USD $55,000.00/Yr.Minimum Salary: USD $44,000.00/Yr.
