Job Description

Your title is Business Development Manager.

You will report to Vice President, TIDES Europe and America Business Department

Responsibilities

\n
• Prospecting for TIDES new drug development contacts and companies who would benefit from Jiuzhou Pharma CDMO services.
\n
• Obtains conferences and meetings to present Jiuzhou Pharma services to prospective and existing clients via email, phone, and web-conferencing systems. Travel to local client meetings where possible.
\n
• Participates in tradeshows to raise profile of Jiuzhou Pharma and generate leads
\n
• Prepare and negotiate quotations with clients
\n
• Drives business, discusses CDAs, specifications, requirements and agreements both with customers and internally
\n
• Acts upon, refers and follows up on leads from both sales and marketing campaigns.
\n
• Increase awareness of Jiuzhou Pharma marketing initiatives, including scheduling meetings at tradeshows and promoting registrations for webinars and seminars.
\n
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends, funding, regulatory influence, mergers and acquisitions, in-out licensing of products/technologies, government/private grants and contacts, new drug development and approvals, related patent grants and notifications, market growth of small, med, and large cap companies.
\n
• Develops a social network of industry-related contacts via LinkedIn
\n
• Proposes new ideas to increase performance for Jiuzhou Pharma goals.
\n
• Documents information in Client Relationship Management (CRM), including contacts, pre-screened/qualified leads, and new account information as required.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Chemical background (MSc or PhD),
\n
• Experience in CDMO business (peptides preferred),
\n
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in sales
\n
• Track record of selling to the pharmaceutical industry and biotech companies,
\n
• Experience in working in an international dynamic environment
\n
• Ideally residing in one of the key biotech areas such San Francisco, San Diego or Boston
