Senior Manager, Business Development – Early Access / Managed Access Programmes (USA Remote)

I'm partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical services business to recruit a Senior Manager, Business Development to join their growing Early Access team in the United States.

\n

\n

This organisation is recognised as a market leader in the Early Access space, supporting pharmaceutical and biotech companies with the design, implementation, and management of global access programmes for patients with unmet medical needs.

\n

\n

The Opportunity

\n

This is a highly visible commercial role combining business development, strategic consultancy, and client relationship management. You'll work closely with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and drive growth across Early Access programmes globally.

\n

\n

Key responsibilities include:

\n

✔ Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through market and pipeline analysis

\n

✔ Building and maintaining relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech clients

\n

✔ Leading proposal development and supporting bid defence meetings

\n

✔ Representing the business at industry conferences and networking events

\n

✔ Supporting consultancy projects with commercial and strategic insight

\n

✔ Managing opportunities through CRM systems and contributing to BD process improvements

\n

✔ Achieving revenue and growth targets through new and existing client partnerships

\n

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

✅ Experience in business development, commercial strategy, or consultancy within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

\n

✅ Strong relationship-building and client-facing skills

\n

✅ Excellent proposal writing and presentation capabilities

\n

✅ Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or similar

\n

✅ Knowledge of Early Access, Expanded Access, Compassionate Use, Named Patient Programmes, or unlicensed medicines is highly desirable

\n

Location: USA (Remote)

\n
