Director of Business Development, Freight Forwarding

Job Description
Our client, a fast growing freight forwarder is seeking experienced Business Development professionals with a strong background in International Freight Forwarding. These roles are fully remote and focused on driving new revenue growth.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Drive sales of end-to-end international freight forwarding solutions, including air, ocean, import/export, road freight, and warehousing \n
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and market development \n
- Consistently achieve and surpass assigned revenue and growth target \n
- Develop and present competitive pricing and tailored logistics solutions for customers \n
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to build visibility and generate new leads \n
Requirement
\n- \n
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development within freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping \n
- Proven success selling international air and ocean freight services \n
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and closing skills \n
- Hunter mentality with a consultative, solution-driven sales approach \n
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships \n
- Existing book of business or established industry contacts required \n
- Willingness to travel as required \n
