Role Description The Director of Business Development, Healthcare Industry is a full-time remote role responsible for driving strategic growth and partnerships for Patient.com. This role includes identifying new business opportunities, leading outreach to potential partners, and managing the end-to-end business development cycle. The Director will develop and refine business plans, oversee lead generation initiatives, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem. Daily activities involve collaborating with internal teams on go-to-market strategies, negotiating and closing contracts, and monitoring performance of strategic accounts. The role also requires staying current on healthcare industry trends to inform market positioning and long-term growth strategies.\n
Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of building and expanding partnerships in the healthcare or health tech sectors.

• Strong Business Planning capabilities, including market analysis, strategic planning, and forecasting to support sustainable growth.

• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with experience structuring, reviewing, and closing complex agreements with healthcare organizations and strategic partners.

• Experience in Account Management, including maintaining long-term relationships, ensuring partner satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for account expansion.

• Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including payers, providers, and patient-facing digital solutions.
\n
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort using data to drive decisions and measure outcomes.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
