Shift: Full-time, 12:00 pm-8:00 pm

Do you enjoy preparing great food and being part of a dependable, team-oriented kitchen? Bishop Drumm Retirement Center is hiring a Cook to prepare meals for our residents, staff, and guests in a welcoming, faith-based senior living community.

In this role, youll use established recipes and production sheets to prepare and cook meals, set up food service areas, and help ensure food is prepared safely, consistently, and on time. Were looking for someone who is comfortable working with commercial kitchen equipment and takes pride in providing quality meals and excellent service.

Job Responsibilities:

Our cook will be in charge of preparing and processing food for the residents, staff, and guests in compliance with all regulations. Maintains up to date knowledge of recipe food prep procedures, knows the proper set-up for steam tables, and operates all stoves, ovens, slicers, etc.

Requirements:

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of recipe food prep procedures and production sheets.
• Maintains competency in Serve Safe guidelines.
