Registered Nurse - Cardiac and Stroke UnitThis is a 13-week contract position.Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)Join our dynamic and fast-paced cardiac and stroke unit where you will provide essential care for patients requiring pre and post-procedure management, particularly for cardiac interventions. As a Registered Nurse, you will engage with a diverse patient population, managing critical telemetry and administering various cardiac drips.Manage and monitor cardiac telemetry patients.Provide pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.Administer medications, including cardiac drips while ensuring patient safety.Conduct assessments and maintain up-to-date patient care documentation using Epic.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Floating to other units as necessary based on patient needs.Participate in admission and discharge processes with the support of a team lead.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a challenging nursing environment, particularly within a cardiac or telemetry unit.Current RN license required (Compact or NC license accepted).Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS.Experience with IV start, telemetry management, and administering cardiac drips.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
