What You'll Do

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll support the Corporate Accounting team by helping ensure financial transactions and records are processed accurately and efficiently.

Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions. Track and record payments and deposits. Maintain accurate financial records for assigned stores. Assist with monthly account reconciliations. Support accounting projects and assemble financial information for audits. Prepare reports and financial information for management. Complete scanning, billing, and other day to day accounting functions. Research and resolve account discrepancies as needed. Work closely with the Corporate Accounting team and store personnel. Assist the Controller and Accounting team with additional projects as needed.

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong time management and communication skills. Analytical and comfortable working with financial information. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Microsoft Excel experience strongly preferred. Experience with VLOOKUP and PivotTables preferred. Previous accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is a plus. Positive, can do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to meet applicable pre employment requirements in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or the equivalent and two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
