About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3 × 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Step Down / Intermediate Care / PCU setting
• Monitor and manage patients requiring cardiac telemetry and progressive care
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience
• Strong cardiac PCU experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity Step Down or Intermediate Care Unit
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
