About the Position

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights)

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license (Compact license or Ohio state license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care experience in PCU/Stepdown/IMC setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous telemetry experience with strong cardiac monitoring skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
• Skills in starting and maintaining IVs, peripheral line care, and oxygen administration
• Experience with isolation precautions and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
