Accounting Manager:
\n \nSummary
\nWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Queens , New
\nYork. This pivotal role will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with
\nfinancial regulations and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional value to
\nour customers.
\n \nResponsibilities
\nManage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
\nBank reconciliation
\nFinancial Statement compilation
\nGeneral Ledger examination and adjustments
\nWorkpaper preparation and documentation
\nFinancial Statement preparation and reporting for:
\na) Submission to tax preparer
\nb) Submission to financial institutions
\nc) NYC real estate RPIE
\nSupervision: AR , AP , Payroll, Rental income, Reconciliations, Insurances, Property taxes, etc.
\nSupport in decision making
\nEnhancement of accounting softwares
\nAnalyze data and follow up on Internal Control matters
\nHandling corporate tax matters and compliance issues.
\nAny other matters as part of managers workload.
\n \nQualifications
\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
\nStrong knowledge of SOX compliance and GAAP principles.
\nProficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis.
\nExperience with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Acumatica, Yardi).
\nExcellent leadership and mentoring skills.
\nAbility to work collaboratively across departments.
\nStrong analytical skills with attention to detail.
