Licensed Practical Nurse or MAPanama City, FLFull-Time | Non-ExemptAbout the RolePanCare of Florida is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical care team. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed provider, supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care delivery.You will play a critical role in clinical operations by assisting with patient assessments, treatments, diagnostic testing, documentation, and care coordination. If you are passionate about patient safety, thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, and are committed to serving underserved communities, this role offers meaningful work with lasting impact.What You'll DoIn this role, you will:Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance with provider orders and nursing standardsAdminister prescribed medications, injections, and treatments safely and accuratelyPerform routine diagnostic tests and procedures, including vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, wound care, and sterile dressing changesCollect, document, process, and handle blood, urine, and other specimens per standing orders and provider directionPrepare patients for exams and procedures, including screening for appropriate clinical informationAssist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations, treatments, and testingObserve, document, and report patient conditions, responses to medications, and treatment outcomesMaintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinicPrepare, stock, and maintain exam rooms and treatment areasFormulate, update, and maintain patient care plans and medical chartsEnsure accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Assist with referrals, diagnostics, and follow-up tasks in a timely mannerMaintain tracking and documentation for UDS, HEDIS, and care gap measuresPerform quality control (QC) testing and maintain QC recordsMonitor and maintain emergency kits, oxygen tanks, medications, and suppliesAssist with inventory management and cost-effective ordering of clinical suppliesAdhere to all Clinical/Nursing Department policies and proceduresComply with Infection Control, CLIA, OSHA, and biomedical waste regulationsParticipate in professional development and required trainingPerform other duties as assigned to support smooth and efficient clinic operationsWhat Success Looks LikeYou will thrive in this role if you are:Detail-oriented and committed to patient safetyConfident in clinical nursing skills and proceduresCompassionate, professional, and patient-centeredOrganized and efficient in a fast-paced environmentComfortable with EMR documentation and quality metricsA collaborative team player who supports providers and clinic staffAdaptable and calm under pressureRequired Skills & CompetenciesMedication administration, injections, phlebotomy, and specimen handlingVital signs, EKGs, wound care, and basic diagnostic proceduresStrong clinical assessment and patient-monitoring skillsAccurate documentation and proficiency with EHR/EMR systemsKnowledge of infection control, OSHA, and safety standardsTime management and multitasking abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsPatient education and health instructionProblem-solving and critical-thinking skillsUnderstanding of HIPAA, confidentiality, and ethical standardsAbility to work independently while collaborating with a care teamEducation & ExperienceCompletion of a state-approved Practical Nursing (LPN) programActive Florida LPN licensure with successful completion of the NCLEX-PNPrevious clinical or healthcare experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)Experience in outpatient or primary care settings preferredPhysical RequirementsThis role requires:Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the clinic dayOccasional lifting up to 25–30 lbs.
