About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to provide strategic leadership across its multiple manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving excellence in safety, quality, productivity, customer service, and financial performance, while supporting the company's expansion. This role requires a hands-on executive who is adept at coaching and developing plant leadership teams, implementing operational best practices, and ensuring consistent execution across locations. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring operations teams, driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives, establishing and monitoring KPIs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a discipline related to engineering, operations, or food science. An MBA is a plus. A minimum of 15 years' progressive manufacturing leadership experience, particularly in food or beverage manufacturing, is required, with a strong preference for those with a background in bakery and snack manufacturing. The role demands a proven track record in leading multi-site operations, expertise in Lean Manufacturing, and a deep understanding of food safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to lead organizational change and build high-performing teams.
