Temporary Graphic Designer

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Temporary Graphic Designer to join their client's team in Cary, North Carolina. This role is perfect for a creative and detail-oriented individual who can develop compelling visual content across print and digital platforms. The position involves creating branded marketing and communications materials, maintaining website content, and ensuring consistent execution of the organization's visual identity. The ideal candidate can translate complex information into engaging, audience-focused designs while balancing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality print and digital materials, including brochures, white papers, reports, infographics, presentation materials, event collateral, email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional assets.
• Transform complex concepts, data, and information into clear, visually engaging designs.
• Develop, update, and maintain branded presentation templates and visual assets.
• Assist with reviewing and preparing materials for publication and production.
• Coordinate with external vendors and printers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Update and maintain website content, ensuring a positive user experience and visual consistency across pages.
• Manage and enforce brand standards, including logos, typography, color palettes, and visual guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and cross-functional teams to strengthen brand awareness and visual storytelling.
• Support digital marketing initiatives through the creation of graphics for email, web, and social media channels.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
• Experience creating both print and digital marketing collateral.
• Experience managing and updating websites using content management systems such as WordPress.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Strong understanding of design principles, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and branding.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Preferred

• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and basic JavaScript.
• Familiarity with project management platforms such as Monday.com.
• Experience with social media design and content creation for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Photography and/or videography experience.
• Experience designing data visualizations and infographics.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Additional Details

Max Pay: $28 per hour
Min Pay: $26 per hour

This position is 100% onsite and temporary through the end of the year.
