DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position oversees psychological services at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Greene and ensures that inmates receive essential mental health care. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections, you will perform the following duties: Staff Supervision: Oversee and guide the work of psychological services employees Program Leadership: Manage the development and direction of psychological programs within the facility Committee Oversight: Lead key committees that review treatment plans and mental health decisions Competency Management: Set clinical standards and monitor the effectiveness of psychological testing measures Report Review: Evaluate diagnostic and progress reports to support accurate treatment planning Expert Consultation: Provide guidance to staff and units regarding mental health treatment needs Interested in learning more? WORK SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction Special Requirements You must be in possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board.
