Accounts Payable Manager Logistics Industry Direct Hire Salary: $65,000–$90,000 DOE We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the full-cycle AP function within a fast‑paced logistics environment. This role will manage a team of three Accounts Payable Specialists and ensure the accurate and timely processing of high‑volume invoices, vendor payments, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage and mentor a team of 3 AP Specialists, including training, performance management, and workflow prioritization Oversee full‑cycle accounts payable operations including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment execution Ensure timely and accurate processing of high‑volume invoices, wire transfers, ACH, and check runs Monitor and enforce internal controls, company policies, and compliance with accounting standards Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes Review and approve invoice batches, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations Manage vendor relationships, including handling escalations and resolving payment issues Prepare AP aging reports, accruals, and assist with month‑end and year‑end close Support audits by providing required documentation and responding to inquiries Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency within AP workflows Qualifications 5+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role Experience managing high‑volume AP in logistics, transportation, distribution, or a similar industry preferred Strong understanding of full‑cycle AP processes and internal controls Experience supervising and developing a team Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Pay Details $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
