Exercise Physiologist

City/State: New Rochelle, New York Position Summary Perform accurate assessments for patients with cardiovascular disease including exercise prescriptions, EKG telemetry interpretations, patient education and safe exercise floor supervision. Job Duties Assess patients\’ fitness and health. Design exercise programs to meet patient goals by increasing their cardiovascular fitness. Maintain daily quality control for all Cardiac Rehab equipment. Prepare medical necessity reports. Education and Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science / Physiology required (Master’s preferred). BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required and completion of ACLS certification. ACSM Certification a plus. Prior experience in a similar role; new graduates considered.
