OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Summary The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operational activities of the campground, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experience for all guests. This role involves managing various departments, including staffing, inventory, maintenance, safety, housekeeping, guest services, and recreational activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Communicate and correct deficiencies collaboratively with departmental supervisors and the GM. Provide great customer service while improving guest satisfaction and raising the net promoter score. Manage and support campground staff, including assisting in hiring, scheduling, and training. Assist the GM in achieving monthly and annual budget requirements. Ensure all accounting functions at the campground follow OAK procedures, including correct and accurate cash handling. Prepare reports relating to procedures, efficiency, scheduling, attendance, etc. Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and critical thinking skills. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Maintain composure and objectivity in high‑pressure, fast‑paced situations. Maintain property by following the quality assurance manual. Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the GM. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff while complying with local, state, and federal safety requirements. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in a customer‑service supervisory role. Fluent in hearing and speaking English. Decision‑making ability. Proficient computer skills. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to motivate, lead, and develop employees. Strong working knowledge of operational procedures. Valid driver’s license. Preferred Education and Experience Not specified. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Office work requires operating standard office equipment such as computer, copier, keyboard. Must be able to lift 10 pounds regularly and lift or carry 25 pounds or more occasionally with assistance. Required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, push, pull, reach overhead, and move safely over uneven terrain. Repeated motion, standing, bending, sitting, lifting, and walking are common. Noise levels may be moderate to loud. May be exposed to dust, pollen, grasses, landscaping, chemicals, and moving mechanical equipment. Personal protective equipment required where necessary. Occasional interruptions and shifting priorities. Valid driver’s license required; may need to drive a motorized vehicle or travel by air.
