Planet Fitness - Member Services Representative - Part Time - Goodlettsville

Location: Goodlettsville, TN 37072, United States – Pay: $12.00 – $12.50 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service. Handle all front desk related activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, taking prospective members on tours, signing up new members, and calculating rates and monthly payment amounts. Assist the Club Manager in counting the drawer as needed. Facilitate necessary updates to members’ accounts. Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager when appropriate. Assist in maintaining the nearness and cleanliness of the club, completing daily assigned tasks within the first hour of the shift, helping with the priority cleaning list each day, performing walk‑around and bathroom checks periodically, and supporting special cleaning projects as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Customer service background preferred. Basic computer proficiency. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health. Exceptional customer service skills, able to interact positively and professionally with members and co‑workers, exceeding expectations. Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem‑solve. Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language. Physical Demands Continual standing and walking during shift. Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
