Planet Fitness - Member Services Representative - Full Time - Hermitage

Position Overview Location: Hermitage, TN 37076-2006, United States Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour We are looking for a Member Services Representative to join our team. The role focuses on creating a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. Responsibilities Greet members, prospective members, and guests, offering exceptional customer service. Handle all front‑desk activities, including answering phones, assisting callers, and providing information. Check members into the system and take prospective members on club tours. Process new memberships, calculate rates and monthly payment amounts. Assist the Club Manager with drawer counts as needed. Facilitate updates to members’ accounts. Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally; elevate issues to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as appropriate. Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club, completing daily assigned tasks within the first hour of each shift. Complete the priority cleaning list and perform walk‑around and bathroom checks periodically. Assist with special cleaning projects as required. Carry out other duties and responsibilities based on club needs. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Customer service background preferred. Basic computer proficiency. High levels of punctuality and reliability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive, upbeat attitude with a passion for fitness and health. Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers. Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem‑solve. Diplomatic communication style and appropriate use of language. Physical Demands Continual standing and walking during shift. Continual speaking in person or on the phone during shift. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
