Operations SupervisorThe Operations Supervisor will supervise and lead an assigned team through the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects. Implements practices to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures. Resolve operational issues and escalate complex issues as needed.• Ensures that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.• Leads team in conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks, conveyor equipment, and specific portions of tractor-trailer and over-the-road trucks.• Oversees the daily workflow; oversees scheduling and assignments of the assigned team.• Inspects quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.• Verifies that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, and that order slips match and have the appropriate signatures.• Keeps team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.• Maintains detailed and accurate work records.• Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.• Resolves conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.• Orders new equipment as requested by management.Requirements• Fluency in both English & Spanish preferred.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong initiative and making suggestions for improving processes.• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.• Excellent management and interpersonal skills.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to motivate a team to accomplish objectives.• Ability to solve conflicts among coworkers.• Ability to remain organized.• Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.• Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.• A minimum of Two (2) Years professional work experience in a Warehouse, Fulfillment Center, or Logistics in a fast-paced work environment.Required PPE:Safety VestSafety GlassesKnit GlovesSkills / Qualifications:Fluent in Spanish & English preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong initiative and making suggestions for improving processes.Job Competency / Qualifications:Education/ Training:High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.Technical Requirements:Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsExperience:· A minimum of Five (5) years of professional experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.Benefits:Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid Time OffDisclaimer: Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyUnis provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, age, genetic information, disability, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, citizenship status, pregnancy, military status, veteran status, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law.
