Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Assistant Maintenance Supervisor – Aliso Creek Apartments, Aliso Viejo, CA Days required: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced property management professional to work at our 535‑unit community, Aliso Creek Apartments. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating employee activities and outside contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds. Responsibilities Direct employees and outside contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and ground maintenance. Obtain bids for work from outside contractors, assemble and analyze bids, and submit for approval. Order and receive supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors. Coordinate work performed by outside vendors and inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and standards. Inspect facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, type required, and study production schedules to estimate worker hour requirements. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase crew efficiency. Assist the Property Manager in planning and administering the maintenance budget. Participate in overnight and emergency coverage as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor. Preference for Yardi experience. Experience in all trades. Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills. Past supervisory experience. Current driver’s license and auto insurance required. Ability to work weekends and overtime as the job requires. Salary range: $27.00–$29.00 per hour. The compensation package includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive, renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts (depending on location). Full‑time employees working 30–40 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits, vacation accrual, and sick time accrual in accordance with law.
