This role will play an important part in the month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with technical accounting matters, improving processes, and collaborating across departments. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys technical accounting, process improvement, and working cross‑functionally with internal teams. Senior Accountant Responsibilities Manage full‑cycle lease accounting, including initial setup, modifications, remeasurements, and terminations. The Senior Accountant will maintain accurate lease records and supporting schedules. Support month-end and year-end close through journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will prepare and analyze account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Perform variance analysis and provide insights to leadership to support business decisions. Serve as the subject matter expert for lease accounting and provide guidance on related accounting matters. Assist with internal and external audit requests and ensure appropriate supporting documentation is maintained. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues. Qualifications Of The Senior Accountant Role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Experience with lease accounting and technical accounting principles. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis. Experience with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion and LeaseQuery are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
