Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with physicians, registered nurses, and other clinical professionals. Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established care plans, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, record observations, and report changes to the appropriate clinical team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized and within scope of practice.
• Assist with routine procedures, patient assessments, and diagnostic preparations.
• Support patients with daily care needs while promoting comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, interventions, and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times.
• Assist in patient education and reinforce care instructions as directed.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the applicable state or jurisdiction.
• Completion of an approved practical nursing program.
• Experience in a clinical, long-term care, hospital, outpatient, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care practices, and safety standards.
• Ability to accurately document care and communicate clearly with team members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records preferred.
