Bodine’s Landscape Services – Serving East Alabama since 1985 Bodine’s Landscape Services is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our office. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members, playing a vital role in maintaining smooth communication and efficient administrative processes. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, thrives in a detailed environment, and takes pride in keeping things running seamlessly behind the scenes. The ideal candidate is professional, self-driven, and enjoys creating systems that make a business stronger every day. Responsibilities Answer and route incoming phone calls; take detailed and accurate messages Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and quote requests via email Maintain human resources records, assist with onboarding, and support personnel documentation Prepare and edit proposals and correspondence as directed Manage payroll processing and related administrative tasks Organize and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical Assist with daily office operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy Perform other administrative and office duties as assigned Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Previous administrative, office management, or human resources experience is a plus Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills Exceptional written communication, spelling, and proofreading abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with QuickBooks preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to take initiative to improve processes Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company positively to clients and partners Why Work With Bodine’s Landscape Services?
