Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess clients’ needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

• Conduct age-appropriate assessments and provide tailored therapeutic interventions to diverse client populations.

• Facilitate parent support groups, creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that addresses issues of placement and adoption, particularly concerning prenatally substance-exposed children.

• Offer temperament counseling to guide parents in understanding their children's behaviors and emotional responses.
\n
• Perform developmental evaluations for children to ensure they are progressing appropriately and identify areas where additional support may be needed.

• Intervene in crisis situations to provide immediate support and stabilization for clients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on patients facing an array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to issues related to addiction, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and family dynamics. Special attention will be paid to families with children who have been exposed to prenatal substance abuse. Your therapeutic approaches will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and encouraging recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid California state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential for this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

You will receive a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 120,000–130,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
