Senior Manager, Data Engineering

Leading a team of data engineers, the full-time Senior Manager, Data Engineering will oversee the development and operation of data capabilities that support products, analytics, and AI initiatives in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of data and software engineers while setting clear performance expectations Define and drive the technical direction for data architecture, modeling, and governance to enhance the data ecosystem Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps and delivery milestones Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 8+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or backend engineering 3+ years of experience in people leadership with a track record of developing high-performing teams Experience owning technical roadmaps and leading complex engineering initiatives Strong technical judgment in data architecture, distributed systems, and cloud platforms
