Location: Perth Unit/Division: Business and Corporate Services Work Type: Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our People Services team as Manager, Recruitment and Establishment. This role plays a pivotal leadership role in driving the delivery of high‑performing, responsive and solutions‑focused recruitment and job design service across the Department. Leading dedicated Recruitment and Establishment teams, this position ensures the provision of timely accurate and strategic workforce solutions that align with organisational priorities. It works in close partnership with the Assistant Director, People Services to provide critical leadership support and works collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a customer centric approach in the delivery of services. The role is instrumental in shaping workforce solutions through the provision of expert strategic advice, and the design, implementation and management of contemporary, tailored strategies to support the Department’s evolving workforce needs across resourcing, job design and organisational design. This is a permanent full‑time opportunity. However, consideration will be given to part‑time applicants. The process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed‑term positions that may arise within the Department and across the WA public sector in the next 12 months from the initial date of appointment. To be successful for this position, you will need to be able to address the key requirements: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team with responsibility for the delivery of customer focussed people services. Demonstrated ability to provide high level advice on complex workforce resourcing challenges and apply critical thinking to provide contemporary solutions that address organisational needs. Demonstrated knowledge of public sector frameworks, legislation and industrial instruments relating to recruitment and establishment. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve organisational outcomes. Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context as outlined below.
