Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial interviews and comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Perform ongoing evaluations by collecting and synthesizing bio-psychosocial data from clients, their families, and relevant referral sources to ensure comprehensive understanding and care.

• Stay updated with current standards of chemical dependency practice and demonstrate competencies in therapy that reflect best practices.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities while being mindful of the diverse populations we serve, ensuring cultural competence and sensitivity in all interactions.

• Maintain accurate client records and documentation while adhering to confidentiality standards in accordance with Washington State regulations.

• Participate in team meetings and collaborative discussions to promote an integrated approach to client care and continuous improvement within our services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals struggling with chemical dependency and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our client population encompasses a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, necessitating a flexible and adaptable therapeutic approach. Your ability to connect with clients from various cultures and circumstances will play a crucial role in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• At least two (2) years of experience in clinical therapy is essential.

• Current Washington State licensure (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT) is mandatory.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a drug-free workplace, specifically regarding the misuse of alcohol and drugs during employment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly working with clients in substance use recovery is preferred.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing techniques.

• Exposure to electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
