Senior Internal AuditorAt CONMED, Internal Audit promotes the effective and efficient use of our resources through implementation of compliance controls, value added projects and cost savings and avoidance opportunities. We are seeking a driven and financially savvy Senior Internal Auditor to join the team.As a Remote Senior Internal Auditor, you will support the completion of annual Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and the annual internal audit plan, which may include Financial, Operational, IT, Compliance and select third party audits.Responsibilities Include:Performing audit test procedures of key controls as related to SOXProvide SOX status reportsObtaining and testing of sufficient evidential matterConduct internal financial and/or system audits and risk assessmentsTest and document financial and computer system records for information system integrity and transaction accuracyReport discrepanciesPrepares audit plans and understand the specific issues to be evaluatedExecute internal audits within established business process controlsDevelop formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and make recommendations as appropriateMay facilitate work of external auditorsParticipate in various projects to improve or develop efficient and effective department processesPosition Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or another related field2+ years of experience in public accounting, audit/internal audit.Preferred Experience:Audit knowledge and skills in finance/accounting and/or information system operationsExperience with data analytics, audit testing etc.Expected Travel 0-20% This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorshipDisclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $64,074 - $99,788. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level.
