Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while being an integral part of a collaborative team dedicated to helping those in need. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that address their specific goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective treatment.

• Educate and assist clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for our clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records following legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring quality care and compliance.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus will be on adults experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. We serve a diverse clientele, including individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds, and those currently facing life challenges such as homelessness, domestic abuse, and refugee status. Your role will involve providing empathetic support and tailored interventions that resonate with each client’s unique circumstances and cultural background.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
