Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique requirements, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance their understanding and engagement in the recovery process.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of client well-being.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advances in mood disorder treatment to continually improve therapy practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies for client care.

• Advocate for clients by reducing mental health stigma and identifying and addressing their specific needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
