Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from home while still engaging in meaningful interactions with clients. You'll have access to our outpatient office for meetings and team collaborations as needed. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in their healing journeys.
\n
• Provide educational resources to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, documenting developments and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, case managers, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and holistic support for clients.
\n
• Stay abreast of the latest research and treatment advancements in mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to foster continuous learning and teamwork.
\n
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to reduce stigma and engage community resources as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT, you will primarily work with clients dealing with mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your role is crucial in helping individuals and families navigate their emotional struggles, promoting mental wellness, and encouraging long-term recovery. You will have the opportunity to support vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a nonjudgmental approach when assisting clients through their challenges.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively balance client caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in working with diverse client populations and understanding the socio-cultural factors affecting mental health.

• Familiarity with substance abuse issues and addiction counseling is a plus, as it aligns with our holistic approach to therapy.

• The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
