Implementation Manager (SaaS) [Remote]

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Implementation Manager (SaaS) based in the United States.

You will join a mission-driven SaaS environment focused on transforming how cities and transit systems operate through real-time data and intelligent software solutions. In this role, you will lead end-to-end customer implementations, ensuring seamless onboarding, integration, and adoption of complex transit technology platforms. You will act as the primary bridge between customers and internal technical teams, translating operational needs into well-executed deployment plans. This position combines project management, technical problem-solving, and customer engagement in a highly collaborative, cross-functional setting. You will work closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and strong time-to-value for customers. The role is highly hands-on, requiring comfort working with technical datasets and integrations while maintaining a strong customer-centric mindset. It is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is motivated by real-world impact on urban mobility and sustainability.

Accountabilities:

• Lead end-to-end SaaS implementation projects, serving as the primary customer-facing owner throughout onboarding and deployment phases.
• Develop and execute detailed implementation plans, including timelines, milestones, resource coordination, and risk management.
• Manage technical onboarding activities such as system configuration, data validation, and integration of transit data sources (e.g., GTFS, AVL, GPS feeds).
• Conduct customer training sessions and provide hands-on support to ensure successful product adoption and value realization.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support teams to ensure smooth implementation execution.
• Monitor project progress, proactively manage risks, and ensure alignment between customer expectations and delivery outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, leverage automation, and apply AI-driven workflows to increase efficiency.
• Gather customer feedback during onboarding and share actionable insights with internal teams to support product and service improvements.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in implementation management, project management, or technical consulting within a SaaS environment.
• Strong ability to manage complex projects using both agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Technical fluency with experience working on data integrations, system configurations, or API-based products.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with transit or structured data systems (e.g., GTFS, AVL, GPS) is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and work comfortably in technical environments.
• Excellent communication skills with experience managing customer relationships and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of processes, and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Comfort using modern tools and AI-driven workflows to improve productivity and scalability.
• Passion for mobility, sustainability, or mission-driven technology is highly valued.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.
