Finance Manager - Bad Debt

Job Overview The Finance Manager will drive the preparation of capital/operating forecasts and budgets, conduct trend analysis, and produce reports focused on the supported Departments or Business Units. The Finance Manager will provide guidance to leadership on financial trends and operational drivers, present findings, and offer recommendations for course corrections as needed. Job Responsibilities Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for budgeting and forecasting for both operating and capital budgets. Gather, analyze, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, future requirements, and operating forecasts. Provide financial support and guidance to stakeholders across key areas within T‑Mobile Financial Services, Credit & Collections, Line of Businesses, and Marketing. Partner with Credit Risk & Fraud, Accounting, Financial Operations, and other FP&A teams. Manage the preparation of Forecast/Budget and perform ongoing or ad‑hoc analysis for the diverse and complex Financial Service and Bad Debt space. Use statistical and financial modeling techniques to analyze results, identify variances and underlying causes, and provide actionable insights on trends and performance. Present findings to Senior Management and suggest course corrections. Utilize analytical and modeling capabilities to conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to enhance decision‑making across options and present outcomes. Measure key performance indicators and benchmark results across accounts, markets, business units, and channels; communicate results to leadership via dashboards and reports. Work internally and with strategic partners to ensure proper accounting controls and audit procedures are in place. Education and Work Experience Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience, OR advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required). Acceptable areas of study include Finance, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Engineering (Required). 7–10 years of experience in Analytics and Planning (Required). Less than 2 years of Wireless Telecom or equivalent experience (Required). Experience with SAP/BPC (Preferred). At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Finance (Required). Accounting (Required). Data Mining (Required). Microsoft Excel (Required). Microsoft PowerPoint (Required). Compensation Base Pay Range: $86,300 – $155,700. Corporate Bonus Target: 15%. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The actual starting pay will vary within this range based on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.
