Property Accountant

Our client is seeking a Property Accountant for a role supporting financial reporting and accounting across a portfolio of real estate assets. This position offers strong exposure to property‑level operations and financial decision‑making. Location Texas – Austin or Houston (relocation assistance available) Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and supporting documentation Perform account and bank reconciliations Support budgeting, forecasting, and operating plans Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and industry standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other relevant fields of study; CPA (or pursuing) is strongly preferred Experience in property or real estate accounting Both Microsoft Excel and accounting systems proficiency is required Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills Why Consider Great benefits, including competitive compensation, and work schedule flexibility Well‑rounded role across reporting, forecasting, and operations Opportunity to grow within a stable and established environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
