Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Fairfax, Virginia. The center is equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and amenities, allowing you and your team to provide the best possible care. You will have access to a collaborative work environment that encourages learning, teamwork, and creative problem-solving among clinicians. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts totaling 40 hours per week, allowing for work-life balance while maintaining a strong focus on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols for various patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Deliver therapeutic care in both clinic and home environments, applying techniques that align with physician-directed goals.
• Educate and train patients and caregivers on treatment plans, goals, and self-management strategies.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics and utilization goals established by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (DPT preferred).

• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health record systems.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
