Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Illinois
• Previous experience as a School Nurse, or Certified School Nurse (CSN) preferred
• Familiarity with health protocols applicable to school-aged children
• Ability to conduct health assessments and care planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to students for illness, injury, and chronic health conditions
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students as needed
• Serve as a health resource for faculty, staff, and parents, offering guidance on medical policy and wellness initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation of health services delivered and ensure compliance with state and district regulations
• Administer medications and oversee immunization compliance
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
