Analyst II, IT Asset Management

A successful candidate will be able to multitask in a dynamic team-based environment demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities and the highest degree of professionalism.This role will be part of a team of information technology professionals responsible for the day-to-day administration and data quality of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) records. This role ensures CIs, hardware assets, and hardware models are accurate, well governed, and aligned to the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) to support IT operations, reporting, and audits.This position requires hands-on CMDB experience, including CMDB administration, data modeling, and hardware model lifecycle management.ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day CMDB administration, including creation, update, validation, and decommissioning of CI records.Actively manage the CMDB work queue (tickets and/or emails), ensuring timely resolution and accurate updates.Maintain CI data quality by monitoring and remediating.Manage and validate CI relationships to support impact analysis and service visibility.Apply working knowledge of the CMDB data model and CSDM to ensure CIs are modeled correctly.Develop and run CMDB reports for stakeholders.Maintain and update CMDB documentation, standards, and procedures.Identify CMDB process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Create, maintain and govern hardware models.Knowledge and Experience2+ years of CMDB experience working in an enterprise environment utilizing ServiceNowWorking knowledge of managing CMDB Service Mapping, Dynamic CI Groups and CMDB GroupsStrongs understanding of IT Asset Management, CMDB and asset/CI life-cycle practicesData analysis and reporting skills to support investigations and remediationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and work independently on multiple projects with and ability to perform well under pressureDesirable Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience building reports with ServiceNow CMDB Query Builder and Performance AnalyticsFamiliarity with servers, network gear, AWS, Kubernetes, end user devices as it relates to CMDB and HAM managementAdvanced excel data analysis, scripting and/or programming experience#LI-MA1 Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
