Compensation: $120,000–$175,000 annually , depending on experience About the Opportunit yA growing, privately held energy services organization is seeking an experienced Controlle r to lead its accounting and financial operations. Responsibiliti esLead all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end and year-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash managemen t.Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAA P.Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team while promoting accountability and continuous improvemen t.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysi s.Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedure s.Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, lenders, and banking partner s.Support mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, purchase accounting, post-acquisition integration, and financial consolidation s.Standardize accounting processes across multiple business entities and ensure consistent financial reportin g.Partner with executive leadership by providing financial insights that support strategic decision-makin g.Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting, and accounting processes, including ERP optimizatio n.Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirement Qualifications onsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance requir ed.CPA designation strongly preferr ed.8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar ro le.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end clo se.Experience leading and developing accounting tea ms.Experience supporting acquisitions, business integrations, or multi-entity organizations is highly preferr ed.Industry experience within energy services, oil & gas, manufacturing, industrial services, or related sectors is preferr ed.Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skil ls.Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership abiliti Preferred Experi enceAcquisition accounting and purchase accoun tionMulti-entity reporting and consolidat ionsERP implementation or optimiza tionAudit management and lender repor tingBudgeting, forecasting, and cash flow manage mentProcess improvement and financial systems enhancem #J-18808-Ljbffr
