About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to provide senior executive leadership and enterprise-level accountability for the full operational performance of its luxury and mixed-income rental portfolio in the Midwest. The successful candidate will be responsible for portfolio strategy, performance, and NOI optimization, as well as the executive leadership and development of regional and general managers. This role requires a principal driver of operating excellence, with a focus on financial management, resident experience, brand standards, and physical asset stewardship. The VP of Operations will also be tasked with ensuring regulatory compliance, particularly in the areas of Fair Housing, EEO, and other relevant statutes. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive property management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, and a proven track record of managing multi-property, multi-market portfolios. The role demands exceptional leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills, as well as strong financial acumen and a comprehensive knowledge of property management systems. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or advanced degree and professional designations such as CPM or ARM. The VP of Operations will be expected to be accessible for off-hours emergencies, travel regularly within the Midwest market, and demonstrate the ability to operate effectively both independently and as part of a senior leadership team.
