Warehouse Operations Associate – Receiver

Location: Memphis, TN
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Duration: 3 Months

Job Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate to support receiving, sorting, stacking, picking, packing, and shipping activities within a distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Use forklifts to load/unload freight, receive, and stock products.

• Operate PIT equipment; valid PIT license is required .

• Use RF scanners to pick orders and computers to audit orders.

• Verify item numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and identify damaged products.

• Operate specialized warehouse equipment and complete routine inspections.

• Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and housekeeping requirements.

• Report unsafe conditions and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse/distribution experience required.

• Valid PIT/Forklift license required.

• Basic computer and math skills.

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Cold-chain experience is a plus.

• High School Diploma required.

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime with little or same-day notice.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work in extreme cold, including temperatures below -24°F .

• May involve biological hazards and moving machinery.

• PPE required, including gloves, safety shoes, cold-weather gear, body harness, and safety vest.

• May involve confined spaces and shift rotations.

• Ability to perform medium/heavy lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and repetitive hand movements.
