Commercial HVAC Service Technician – Phoenix, AZ

Agave Mechanical is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Phoenix, Arizona. We are locally owned and operated serving commercial customers throughout the Phoenix metro area, providing high-quality HVAC service, maintenance, and repair.

This position is ideal for an experienced commercial HVAC technician in Arizona looking for steady year-round work, competitive pay, and long-term career growth—without 24-hour on-call service.

Compensation

• $25.00 – $40.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Weekly payroll

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems across Phoenix and surrounding areas
• Troubleshoot and diagnose package units, split systems, and mini-split systems
• Perform system startups, commissioning, and equipment change-outs
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) services
• Respond to commercial HVAC service calls and approved repair projects
• Accurately document work using HVAC service tracking software
• Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment
• Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, and management
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused presence at all job sites

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Universal EPA Certification
• 3–5 years of commercial HVAC service technician experience
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, HVAC components, and system operation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Experience with BuildOps or similar HVAC service management software preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company service vehicle
